Bought a cheaper petcock first. Ad said it fit the Banshee and it did screw to the tank, however when I went to attach fuel line the cheap petcock had a smaller fuel outlet fitting. Lesson learned (again) you get what you pay for. This original Yamaha oem petcock is nothing special but is FOR SURE a direct replacement for the Banshee. Spend the money and fix it right the first time. Well worth the money.
