All the parts are of good quality (for their intended purpose) but at the exceptional price, one has to wonder how accurate the gauges are. Their displayed output (the displayed number) is irrelevant so long as each gauge reads the same number off of one test source. Best of all? These gauges are adjustable so I check each against one vacuum source, set them individually to read the same from the test source, and then connect them to the engine and commence adjustment. They work but they make you work too
I received this gauge set with all of the gauges needles pointing at very different values. At first I thought they were broken. The set came with no instructions whatsoever so, I was on my own to figure out how to get all of the gauges pointing to zero. Turns out you have to pop the glass off (the bezels come straight off, no twisting and then use the silver colored screw to adjust the needles position to zero while at atmospheric pressure. In use, they seemed to work well enough to get the carbs sync'd on two of my bikes. You have to play with the restrictor screws on the inlets of each gauge to steady the needles without completely closing off the passage way. They're nuthin' fancy but they seem to do the trick and, that's kinda the point, isn't it? I received this gauge set with all of the gauges needles pointing at very different values. Great product. Regardless of any brand or price.
Great product. Equal to mercury gauges . Easily zeroed. Glass lens. Resecured properly after zeroing gauges. Not only synchronized carbs but helped diagnose air leaking by variable venturi metering jets. Used them on a 1975 Yamaha XS500b. 2 cylinder . It came with plenty of adapters which fit and functioned perfectly.

You get what you pay for.
This set of vacuum gauges is sufficient for most carb synchronization but there can be a variance in each gauge’s readings that should be recognized. They all zero out closely but when linking them to a single vacuum source, there is some variance (at least in mine). Simply note the variation of each from the second gauge and make carb adjustments accordingly.
