    • Rolling on...

I have a 2005 Yamaha TW200 that the previous owner had placed a street tread tire on the front. I bought this Shinko tire to replace the front. I used a new rim strip/ tube. The tire is marked "tubeless" on both sidewalls. This tire went on nicely and spins good with very little out-of balance vibration and is smooth riding on the street while still having capability for some trail riding. The OEM front tire for this bike is a Bridgestone TW31 which are more expensive and seemed to be of lesser quality. Definitely recommend.

    • Height of tire chart off.

Well let me say this, the chart that says tire 26.1 inches tall is off, it's 27" tall. Had to mod. fender to fit. Extra work but it keeps the front end from washing out on the deep sandy road I have to travel to get to the main roads. Now if they could only make a tire that says and is 25.5 " tall with this profile would be great. The tire I took off was a 130/70-18 which is 25.5" tall this Shinko tire that I put on says 130/80-18 and it 27" tall, 1.5 inches difference is a big deal when it doesn't fit and you have to mod. the fender. Other than that it works great.

    • Likely the best tire for dual sport use on Yamaha Trailway.

Superior grip and feel to stock Trailwing on my TW200, much quieter too. This tire is heavier and takes a bit more effort to turn on the street but not noticeable in the dirt. Would like a bit more aggressive side tread but this is a DOT approved tire. Very good compromise for dual sport use.

    • 60/40 dual sport tire

This tire has connecting ridges to keep the side wall knobs from folding over and causing low side crash on street. Noticeable increase of "meaty-ness" from the the stock 120/80-18 tires, in a good way. Feels like it sits taller but just a bit. Flickable on the street and does well off road (no sand or deep mud). Not made to carve the canyons or rip in the deep woods but it'll allow you to ride trails and cruise the highway back home. Also, good quality for the price.

    • They work...

Tires seem great, only spun them for 300 miles, but my last set(mefo explorers) was x2 the price and were straight up dangerous. These grip up great on wet grass, wet pavement, dry pavement, I've been pushing my luck in the gravel but they seem to do well, haven't went down yet
