For the price... OUTSTANDING!!!
I put this pickup in my Dime-O-Flame and A-B'd it against my Razorback with a Dimebucker. Although the Dimebucker won the contest(A bit sweeter & fatter), this freakin pickup held it's own and impressed the heck out of me. It's nice and powerful with a punchy, tight low end and those great L500/SH-13 type pick attack harmonics. And like the Dimebucker, it has no noise. Bottom line, If you're after Dime's tone or you just want a powerful passive pickup that sounds almost like an active(and you don't have $50 for an L500), you can't beat this pickup for the money. Dimebag himself could've played a gig with this pickup and no one wouldv'e been the wiser. Btw, it also does a good Greenday/dookie tone and prob does a decent Nuno too(just a bit more swept in the mids than the L500).I put this pickup in my Dime-O-Flame and A-B'd it against my Razorback with a Dimebucker. For $15 you can't beat it. Not as much punch and sizzle as a Bill Lawrence L500XL but it's a good pickup and I am happy with my purchase.
