Product Information

The Razer Taipan is an ambidextrous gaming mouse that was developed for fighting style games. The outside of the Razer mouse is matte black plastic with a glowing Razer logo set into the palm rest. It is equipped with a clickable scroll also ringed with neon green lighting. The Razer mouse features nine programmable buttons: the click wheel, right and left click, two buttons that are south of the scroller, and another two that are embedded in each of the sides. This gaming mouse is ergonomically designed with one 8,200 dpi sensor that is set to track two-dimensional movements and a second optical sensor for z-axis tracking. The Razer mouse is set with a 32-bit peripheral and a 1000 Hz polling rate, Thus, the cursor moves to exactly where the user wants it. Featuring Razer’s Synapse 2.0 technology, the settings are in place as soon as it is plugged in. Aesthetically pleasing, ergonomically designed, and weighing only 95 grams, the Razer Taipan provides a firm grip, and exact movement no matter if the user is right or left handed.

    I like the design

    I like the design and the extra programmable buttons are good for my needs without having to many. It feels like the quality is a bit lower than say a microsoft mouse, but for the price, it's good.

    Razer Taipan

    As someone who is ambidextrous this mouse is a godsend. Fits well in the hand and works very well. Had one when it came out and lasted me 6yrs. I only replaced because I beat up the side buttons.

    Awesome Mouse

    This thing is crazy fast and supper accurate. Takes a little getting used to. Start out with the DPI set low and work your way up to the 8200 max, if your not used to it. I love this thing. I'll never go back now. I now have 2 of them. Thank you Razer for the Taipan Dual Sensor Mouse.

    Good mouse and good tracking

    This was a great improvement over all the other mice I've held, it was my first gaming mouse. Tracking is pretty good and the lift-off distance is customizable for various surfaces. Perfect for RTS games if you need several buttons on the mouse.
