Based on the 2005 cinematic adaptation of C.S. Lewis' classic fantasy novel, this video game version of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe features the four Pevensie children as playable characters, each with a different specialty. Many of the game's challenges require two or more of the children to combine their strengths and work together. Only by using their talents in harmony will they be able to solve the game's action-oriented puzzles, and defeat the minotaur, cyclopes, werewolves, and other mythical monsters that stand in their way.<br><br>Peter, the oldest Pevensie child, wields a sword in the land of Narnia, and is the strongest melee fighter. The elder of his sisters, Susan, specializes in ranged attacks with her bow and arrows. The headstrong Edmund is best at making use of the environment, as he is a good climber and can use found objects as tools or weapons. The youngest sibling, Lucy Pevensie, can act as a healer when her brothers and sister are wounded. In certain situations, two of the children can team up to perform special attack moves.<br><br>During the war, while living in the safety of a large old country house, the four Londoner Pevensie children discover a magical wardrobe that serves as a portal to another world. This world of Narnia is caught in a monumental struggle, between the cruel White Witch who wishes to keep the lands frozen in a never-ending winter, and the noble lion king Aslan, who wishes to free his people from the witch's evil domination. The game's environments are based on scenes from the movie, and characters are voiced by the actors who portray them in the film.

Great Game
This is a great game! The combat and level design is easy to follow! My only complaint is that there is a lack of a player-controlled camera. Otherwise very good!

The thing I liked best about this game was that it actually has cooperative play. It is very hard to find two player games where you can play cooperativly. Overall it was a good game that my husband and I both enjoyed playing together. Our son also really liked it. The controls are easy and not complicated, but the game was challenging enough for my husband who is a big gamer. The game was a little monotonous, seemed like a lot of the same over and over. My biggest complaint though was that it was too short. Overall I would recommend this game if you enjoy playing cooperatively or if you play Xbox as a family.The thing I liked best about this game was that it actually has cooperative play. The Cronicles of Narnia: the Lion, the Witch, and the W
This has been the only video game that we have experienced that has remained very close to the movie. It is somewhat challanging at first just trying to use each individual childs abilities but after a while you get the hang of it. For the experienced gamer it tends to go very fast. My twins, who are 10 finished the game in 1 day and 1/2. But it also only took them 4 days to finish the Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones. We all enjoyed it as a family and we looked forward to the movie scenes....This has been the only video game that we have experienced that has remained very close to the movie. It is somewhat challanging at first just trying to use each individual childs abilities but after a while you get the hang of it. For the experienced gamer it tends to go very fast. My son got it for christmas and thinks it is so cool he plays it every day thank you very much.the graphics are very good. somethings are hard too find but he plays it till he beats what ever he has to. Disapointed in this one......
WOW. My daughter has read the books but this game surprised us. It is really violent. I was not happy at all with this game. It sure puts a different twist on a great story line. I am sorry that we bought this game. My daughter years old and even she said she was sad how much violence is in the game. Sad to see them ruin a good story line like this.
