GM 59er
I installed three sets of the GM 59' er pickups in three LP style guitars for friends and family. they all love them, the neck pickups really sound great clean or overdriven. the bridge sounds great as well, a little bright depending on amp setting. so rolling back the tone knob may be needed. over all really great sounding pickups. if you need a little more heat in the bridge then get the hot rod set , same neck pickup, I have that set in many of my guitars. both RG and LP style guitars. For the money, you really can’t go wrong! Bright without being shrill, good midrange and not too woofy on the low end. These pickups have a woody tone like a ‘59 pickup should have. Rolling back the volume knob cleans up nicely. This is my second time buying pickups from this company and both times I’ve been happy. For the money, these are some GREAT sounding pickups. The ONLY reason I didn't give it 5 starts is because the lead wires on the neck pickup are too short
