    Great deal

    Great deal. When I upgraded my (2002 Subaru Forester) car's battery to an optima the oem hold down didn't hold it down snug enough so, I bought this after looking at many kinds. 1st the holding bolts ended up being thicker than my oem ones & much longer, thought I might have to cut one but, the hood does barley make it. I still have just a little slack still and it's as small as it gets but, there is enough metal to grind back for that 1/4 inch. The finish however is not perfect. Not the best prep job prior to painting so if this is for a car that you like to show off under the hood you'll need to re-finish it but, still worth it! I took a close up shot of the cross bar & it's clean, the bumps are under the paint.
