The Boss BRS52 subwoofer is a dual-cone replacement speaker that is designed as a quick and easy upgrade for older systems or speakers that have been played out from extensive use. This Boss 5.25-inch car speaker is just the driver element of the speaker, and does not include an enclosure or cabinet. As such, the Boss BRS52 subwoofer can be easily integrated into an existing cabinet setup. This Boss 5.25-inch car speaker has a peak power handling of 60 watts, an RMS power handling of 30 watts, and a frequency response range of 100 Hz to 18 kHz, giving the bass notes produced by this dual-cone replacement speaker depth while addressing midrange and treble notes as well. The woofer cone in this Boss car speaker is made from polypropylene, giving it the resiliency it needs to conduct a big bass sound while still being sensitive enough to transmit detailed sound. With a shallow mounting depth of 1.9 inches as well, this Boss 5.25-inch car speaker is a reliable and flexible solution to a consumer’s subwoofer replacement needs.
