Item as described and works fine. Nice upgrade over little set screws. Installed on a Celestron C8. Made 1 small mod and that is adding a flat rubber o'ring inside this adapter so it doesn't bottom out on my 6.3 Reducer when tightening down. Lets snugging down much more precision instead of metal to metal feel. Could be because I'm using the Reducer but should work even w/o reducer. Great item, Thanks!!

I like that I can control the friction on how I hold my diagonal in it . I can tighten it enough to hold my diagonal and still rotate my diagonal clockwise without loosening since the holding ring is some kind of nylon. As well, I can tighten it more so it doesn’t rotate. Say for beaver eyepieces.
