Total disappointment
Although the adapter came as advertised I was very disappointed in its performance. The picture quality can be described only as very fuzzy and unfocused. No amount of fine-tuning of the monitor, display settings in graphic card's control panel did not improved a picture - still blurry, fuzzy and unfocused. The smaller size text is unreadable and yes I did try clear text wizard on Windows to get it more focused - but nothing. Unfortunately, the $3 unbranded adapter performs way way better than this one. PROS: Absolutely none. CONS: Way to expensive, worst picture quality of any HDMI to VGA adapter I've ever seen, text and images and blurry and fuzzy. RECOMMENDATIONS: Steer clear away from this product.Although the adapter came as advertised I was very disappointed in its performance. Interesting ...
My first thought was this was almost an Apple product with the way the packaging was constructed around the adapter. It definitely appears Ugreen is aiming for the upmarket sector at a reasonable price. As for the adapter itself it does the job required (only 1 week of use so far) and I am quite happy with it.
