    A joy to cook with, day by day! :-)

    This pan is unique, ancient in material and modern in form. Simply timeless... The surface is beautiful deep black and already pre-seasoned in some way. I have done additional work with coconut grease, and now the eggs are sliding around only by mowing the pan. It's perfect! Contains enough volume for one person (or for two slim youngsters). Suitable for all type of food: meet, vegetables, fruit, ect., not only for eggs. The higher rim on front helps for "lifting" around the food by frying. Weight is just right too. Grip becomes a bit too hot, I use kitchen towel to hold it. Cleaning is easy, wash immediatly with pure hot water and a stiff brush. Whit this Japanese nambu tekki (cast iron) pan I can start my day with delicious breakfast and make later fine surprises for myself, till deep in ...

    Great pan

    I believe this pan works better than a few different no-stick coated ones I’ve owned, and it’s much better to eat from. I love the lip on the front. It makes it easier to flip the omelette right in the pan, which I couldn’t in any of my others.

    Beautiful pan designed for omlets, french omlets, Very fine grain on the cast iron Would really love it if it was not 75 bucks ; 35 or 40 dollars would be more correct pricing I can get a French carbon steel omlets pan for less than half the price

    Good skillet with very artistic appeal

    Beside being a good cast iron skillet, it is almost a piece of arts. Really enjoy cooking with this skillet which worked very well initially with pancakes, and was bit sticky with cooking eggs. Pretty confident the skillet will be less sticky with more cooking to build up the patina. It is very light and is actually a touch smaller than I expect. Due to the structure of the skillet, the cooking surface is relatively smaller compared to other skillet with the similar outside diameter. The handle works well to remain cool during cooking.
