I’ll give it to you straight and unbiased.
The little radio is small compact and does give you a good variety of formats to listen in on. It is a FM/Am/SW/MP3 player that has record options for recording your voice and recording radio stations. The outer casing seems tough and I assume tough enough to withstand drop on the floor by accident and still be a viable unit. Although I wouldn’t try it from any substantial heights. The buttons on it are plastic, and I haven’t had real good luck with this type of button. Usually oils from your hands can deteriorate the plastic over time and they become brittle crack and break off.. Hence most companies have gone to rubber coated buttons that don’t do this. I live in a rural area and it’s tough to get radio stations, I have a couple radios in my house that get better reception than ... When I do get a station with it, it’s usually a strong station to begin with. I’m sure in a city the reception would be more than fine. The Short wave radio has a scan as well to find used channels in a sea of many frequencies which I find very helpful. You chose the band you want and scan the frequencies. Just as with the AM/FM stations you can set them to favorites. I occasionally enjoy listening to liberty talk radio on it. I found the instructions as that of many Chinese goods lacking. Their idea of instructions is to tell you what the buttons do but not actually what to do with them. No full explanation of how they work. After twenty minutes trial and error I figured out how to get the channels to stay put once you hit seek buttons. One thing I do like about the radio is it takes micro SD cards, can be used as a card reader for your computer or to store your music library and recordings. I have over 700 songs on a 32 GB card I put in it. The radio is powered by a 3.7mah battery pack that is replaceable. It charges up within a couple hours with the joint USB, charging and download cable. Nice little design there. The battery life I haven’t been able to see yet, but I’ll tell you I’ve played my music already for 4 hours and it still has two bars of four battery life. As for sound. I was amazed, this little 12.00 radio is loud and relatively clear. Thanks to two speakers. It has a 2” main speaker that handles high end and mid tones in front and a bonus oval 2x1” bass speaker in the rear. Your turn the little radio up to ten and it will vibrate itself off the shelf. When on 1/2 to 3/4 volume there is little distortion, of course on full you will get some as with most inexpensive radios or electronics. I gave the little radio a three star rating, because of the reception, instructions and plastic buttons. The buttons should be upgraded. For 12.00 it’s not a bad buy, it works and does the things that it says it will do. Just understanding how can be a bit daunting. It has a ear phone jack and a external AUX jack to connect other media players to it. All in all it isn’t the worst 12.00 I’ve spent. I mainly bought it as a pack radio for my bug out bag. This has been a Bonedaddy review. 3 + stars rating

E.D.C READY. FOR THAT TRIP. AND HOME THANKS
First off the size is just right for my E.D.C. BAG. THEN RECHARGE is easy. As the phone, and the radio. Share the same charger. This also lets me use a folding "solar" pannel to charge radio. As for the record feature. A 8 gig tf chip serves. At a moderate price. Also found battries. Once again at decent cost. This radio is a winner all around. Tks for good radio.

Despite it's shortcomings it is worth well worth the price, if you want to receive short wave broadcasts this is not the radio for you.
Everything about the radio is good except it will not receive any shortwave broadcasts and the AM reception is just OK. It has a lot of features for the money like it will record radio broadcasts, play music recorded on an SD card, record sounds from built in mike, and has rechargeable battery.

Greatest Little Radio and More
This little radio has the best sound quality on FM of any pocket size radio I have ever owned. The SW band tunes in on weak and noisy signals better than my Grundig mini 300. I have been able to get WWV time on 10 MHz tuned in indoors well enough to make out the time every day since I've had it. All of my other SW portables I have to take outside to get reception that good. AM or MW band is also very sensitive. I have listened to stations I didn't know were out there where I live. The use of a phone battery for the rechargeable option is brilliant. The record option on memory card is awesome. I traveled with small AM/FM/SW portables in the military and I have paid a lot more for a lot less radio many times.
