    atypical use of blender...converted to gas powered

    Prob would have worked nice out of the box but I never plugged it in to check....I bought this with intent to convert to gas powered using weed wacker engine. Worked perfect. Basically stripped entire unit down and used grinder to convert driveshaft to fit output on 2 cycle weedwacker (has to be 2 cycle or cant lubricate cylinders due to position of engine when used with 4 stroke). Mounted and set on old step stool and done. Works perfect for beach/ boat:)

    Powerful Blender!

    I ordered this Oster because it was made with metal parts. I purchased this blender to replace the Cuisinart; and I will never buy another one! It was made with plastic parts and did not hold up after only a couple of years of light use. I love my Oster!
