The half slide arrived in an envelope with bubble warp to protect it, while exactly as described and of the required dimensions, this slides is a bit flimsy and I don't think it will last too long with intensive field use. It is a delicate plate and not even close to Fidelity Elite plate hardness. It will work nonetheless but one has house it delicately. For trying this out it is perfect, let's see how long it lasts. Beware field photography is not a delicate endeavor...
