    Good movie.

    In this movie you can see why Mr.H. Fonda became a big star. The lead actors are very good, and the direction not bad. It has a singer I never heard of before and he is very good too. The screenplay and supporting cast are good also. The movie is also food for thought.

    Trail of the Lonesome Pine

    This is a good story of mountain life in the backwoods, though not so strong a story line as I had been led to believe. I have heard of this film for many years and am glad finally to see it. But it's not my favorite. It does remind me quite a bit of the "Shepherd of the Hills" story from the Ozarks.

    Trail of the Lonesome Pine

    The quality of the movie was great. It was just as if you were watching it on TV. The movie was bought for my father, who watched it when it first came onto the screen. He really enjoyed it. The best money I have spent in awhile as it made my father very happy.

    Great movie!

    As the first movie filmed in Technicolor outdoors, this is a classic. The color is beautiful, the acting is great! This is an example of movies from that era and I recommend it to anyone studying the genre!
