Five women have turned up missing in small town Cleary, North Carolina. Lilly Martin is in Cleary, to close the cabin owned by her and her ex-husband. While heading off the mountain in a blizzard she spins out of control and hits a stranger, Ben Tierney. Because of the strength of the storm and his injuries they have not choice but to wait out the storm together in the cabin. Ben has been in Cleary off and on for a while, but no one knows why. He is a man of mystery who has connections with the missing girls. Will the FBI and local police be able to track down the kidnapper before it's too late for Lilly? I'm fairly new to Sandra Brown's books, but I am an avid reader averaging 4 novels a week. This book was mostly enjoyable but at times I felt like I had to drag my way through. ... This book is filled with twists and turns. You never know what is going to happen next. Sandra Brown as usual writes a great mystery and love story together and as always has plenty of mystery and deep dark secrets. Once I start reading one of her books I don't want to put it down until I finish.
