    Solid, fast, large capacity for DC or server room use.

    A solid, well-designed drive array for SAS use that happily takes a number of formats of drives. Of course this is a drive array designed for datacenter use so they are NOT quiet and not recommended for use in anything but a server room or sound-insulated cage. This particular setup was fully redundant with redundant PSUs and redundant controllers. Performance even with the drives only being 3G was excellent at 30k IOPS and 1GB/s read 750MB/s write speeds in RAID setup. The included controller card for the server did well in my DL380 to drives this array.
