I got this for replacing my own tips. There is a little learning curve, but it works well for my needs. I used to have a cue lathe and did repairs years ago, so I knew what I was doing, just had to lear the new equipment. Anyone without experience should watch some tip replacements videos on YouTube for both manual techniques and using a lathe.
