About this product

Product Information

Ben 10: Alien Force is the first video game based on the sequel animated series of the same title. Set five years after he put away the DNA-remixing Omnitrix in the original Ben 10 series, an older and wiser Ben Tennyson is joined by his energy-bending cousin, Gwen, and his former rival, Kevin, to face a challenge of the gravest consequence. The fate of his grandfather -- and the world -- is depending on him.

The third-person perspective is from an isometric angle above the action, zoomed out far enough to take in the fast movements of a Aerophibian like Jet Ray or the large-scale destruction caused by a Vaxasaurian like Humungosaur. Gamers can also play in the Big Chill, Spidermonkey, and Swampfire forms.

Grandpa Max is missing, and a new enemy -- the Highbreed -- are a threat to all. Despite any past differences, Ben, Gwen, and Kevin work together to survive. Gwen's energy powers can create force fields, and Kevin can produce powerful armor. A two-player co-op mode is available. The game features art and sound effects from the television series, and all characters are voiced by their original actors.

  • good kids game but not as good as the first

If you played the first game, you'll probably want to buy this one because it was good easy fun for a young kids and good tv show. The Alien Force tv show is good but this game lost something. It's based on the same arcade adventure with repetitive punches and simple platform jumping. Use the skills of the available aliens to get past puzzles. What I don't think I like about this game are two factors that annoy me through the whole game. I haven't completed the game with my son yet so I think I don't mind them as much. First this game seems to be a lot darker in colors. It's sort of hard to make out certain screens and which character are you when playing multiplayer. I'm use to the previous game where there were a lot more outdoor scenes and the view of the players were a little closer. ...

  • Ben 5

Well this was for my daughter who is 6 but I love my share of games too. My kids like the game but some areas are just frustrating to them and even to me. In one area of the game it has you jump from stump to another, what makes it frustrating is that the camera is not user controlled so its more difficult to decipher the angles and distances. In some areas it took 6 or more tries to get it. Now the reason why I labeled this Ben 5 is that there are only 5 aliens you can play with(note only 2 are available from the beginning later you unlock one by one). Well on a positive note they have cool attacks and are easy to execute too. Since I do like the cartoon I wish they would have added some animation of when Ben changes into an alien form. In Co-op mode both players are Ben or Kevin ...

  • good game

niceIf you've been clamoring for a brand-new Zelda adventure that fits in your pocket, you can stop making a fuss now. Link's newest portable appearance, The Minish Cap, is here, and it executes the classic overhead Zelda formula with great precision and delightful whimsy. The basic gameplay is fundamentally identical to that of past games in the series, but the Zelda model is so entertaining, you can hardly call that a negative. The game is a little on the short side if you just plow through the main dungeon progression, but there's a vast array of optional side quests to undertake, and Nintendo and Capcom have also done a great job of coming up with new items and abilities for Link that fit right in with the standard Zelda structure.

  • Dissapointing!!

I liked Ben 10 Alien force becuase is has better quality images than "Ben 10:Protector of the Earth", which is our favorite at home. The new Alien force also had overall nice controls but it is lacking guidance and is indeed very complex to play. My son and I finished "Protector of the Earth" several times but we both got blocked in the second level of "Alien Force" and could not move forward from there. Documentation did not include any help that could be referred to. I regret buying this game actually as instead of being fun to play turned out to be dissapointing.

  • Good game

Good. A lot like the first Ben 10 game but with different characters and an all new story line. The drop in drop out feature really makes it easy for adults to join in.
