    Big fun, small package!

    The Vita is still a great portable console in 2021. You can remote play PS3/4 games. There are quite a few vita exclusives that are well worth playing. Plus if you plan to hack (which I'd say most of us are) it's easy enough to do. If you hack it you can easily play PSP and PS1 games natively as well with near 100% performance and compatibility. Pretty impressive for a system this old! For most people I would recommend picking up a Vita 2000 series rather than the older 1000. They are slimmer, lighter, charge via microUSB, have a bit better battery life, and have some internal memory that negates the need for Sony's proprietary and discontinued (thus super overpriced) memory cards. You can pick up an SD2Vita adapter and a microSD card with 256GB of storage for less than a 16GB Sony card. ...

    Is the PS Vita still worth buying today (Posted as of October 10th, 2018)

    So, is the PS Vita worth the purchase, at the last months of it's life cycle? It really depends on how you game. Provided that you have PSN games or PSVita game cards available in your area, you're likely to find a few gems around, and at good prices (in many cases). For me, I have a variety of games, and some are imports. I recommend buying (ASIA Region), as many of those games are with an English Option (some Japanese Region aren't in English). What would make me apprehensive, is the PS Vita Memory Card format: It's cost prohibitive, and is only likely to jump in costs. While you can seek out a Henkaku "jail broken/rooted" PS Vita, the market price is almost double the usual cost of these devices. Where as current market price for a used PS Vita presently goes for $120-$150 ...

    Who knew a buying a vita mid 2020 would be a great decision. The console I received looks pretty much brand new. Since this is a Japanese vita the X and O configs are a bit confusing even after switching it up in the options but aside from that this is perfect!

    I love this system, its just what i needed for on-the-go gaming :) I was able to download games to it from my PS account, and i dont even need to change cartridges :) Its like having a mini Playstaion 2 with digital games loaded on it right in my backpack :) I even got a set of headphones, and a matching case for it to keep it safe from any damage. I recommend this for anyone that wants games on the go without having to switch cartridges :)
