    Better than ever

    I have a 2004 SLK320 and it used to have a faulty hood shock. No longer. Very easy to replace and at a very economical price. You need to reuse the sleeve/lock cover that comes with the car. But the strut itself is identical. The hood is heavy but come open quickly with ease. How long will it last, I’m thinking it’s a major win if I hit the 2-3 year mark.

    Fits R170 platform hoods (Crossfire and SLK)

    This product does fit but you must reuse the tube and the spring loaded button which screws onto the damper strut. This replaces Mercedes A1708800229
