We just did a side-by-side playoff with two players comparing my new whistle with the same key of untweaked Generations brass whistle, and whoever was playing the Freeman-tweaked whistle simply sounded like the better player: smoother across the octave break, in-tune octaves, and just plain not needing to work so hard.
