This works great. Though, it's a pretty awkward set of adapters and the CF card reader's screw holes did not line up with the screw holes in the VS1680's mounting bracket. To be clear, they were close but not close enough. Consequently, I had to drill some new holes in the metal bracket to line up the threaded holes in the CF card reader's chassis. Not an insurmountable problem but a bit of a pain.
