In my opinion, the quality falls somewhere between the cardboard type "hard" cases which accompany most low-end acoustics and the bonafide quality acoustic guitar hard cases. But....after living with this case for awhile I've warmed up to it. It will never be the case I preferred, but it is adequate, the guitar fits well inside of it, and it looks fine.
