Good Freewheel
I used this freewheel to replace a Shimano unit on a Fito beach cruiser. Running it with a Shimano Acera derallier, it has much quicker solid shifts than the Shimano it replaced. My only complaint is that its a little noisier than the Shimano. My advice before installing it is to remove the seal cover and add a few drops of new 30-weight motor oil, which made it much quieter. New school freewheel
Using this freewheel with my handlebar mounted friction shifters gives me the best shifting bike I've ever had Th best feature is the narrow cogs so I can use a 9 speed chain with its lighter weight and greater flexibility. The smallest cog 13, 14 never seems to accept the chain though. I have to file the back side of each tooth so it will allow the link to release. Way better than old suntour or Maillard at half the price.Using this freewheel with my handlebar mounted friction shifters gives me the best shifting bike I've ever had Th best feature is the narrow cogs so I can use a 9 speed chain with its lighter weight and greater flexibility.
