I used existing holes in the wall, so maybe worth saying that the wall brackets each have 2 screw holes approximately 22mm apart, with a bit of wriggle room. The existing holes in the wall were 25mm apart and I just managed to use them. Hope this helps someone else decide. The real test is how well it will stand up to use, the previous one (not Bristan) went rusty.
