    Good for what it is. Blame Dell for design flaws.

    Mine 00KDP Palmrest & Touchpad came in new condition -- no cracks, dents, or signs of wear. It is the real thing and fits my Inspiron 15 5558 just fine. Having used it for two weeks now, I can say it feels like the original. However, I had two substantial problems when installing it. One was that a piece of metal near the power button's board wasn't machined just right, making it hard to fit the power button board into place. The second, separate problem caused me to spend about two and a half extra days of research and repeated disassembly and reassembly to fix it. As it turned out, the back of the plastic power button (i.e. the part that sits inside the computer and connects between what you touch and the electronic components of the power button assembly) was just a little too short to ...
