    The best way to experience TZ

    Wow…. I’ve owned a lot of box that’s in my life but this is top notch. The high definition camera negative transfers are gorgeous. There’s no lossless audio, however the two channel Dolby mix is plenty loud and plenty clear. The outer box is gorgeous and makes a great display piece. Each season comes in a fold out style booklet and all 28 discs feel very secure. Each season comes with an episode guide which is extremely useful considering there are 156 episodes. I really can’t say enough good things about this set. If you’re a massive fan of the Twilight Zone then this is a must have. It’s the kind of box set that they just don’t make anymore. What are you waiting for?! Buy it!

    Review of "Complete Definitive Collection"

    It's great to have all the episodes together in one set! The quality of the DVDs is very high. Also enjoy the interviews with Rod Serling (the recording of his talk at Sherwoods Oaks College is very revealing, in that he criticizes himself for how he handled a particular episode). Some of the period pitch pieces, other apperances by Mr. Serling on TV and the product ads are entertaining too. I wish it had more special features, some of the isolated score segments and certain work by interviewers are disappointing. If you offered it, I'd give this set a "damn near excellent" score, its just shy of excellent in my opinion.

    Great Complete Definitive Set

    All 5 complete seasons on 28 discs. Quality and sound are excellent. At the end of each episode Rod Sterling introduces the next episode. Also loaded with special features. A must have for any Twilight Zone fan.

    Had to have it!!!

    Our family lived in Costa Rica when Twilight Zones first aired, so I never saw an original episode. But when I did I instantly became a fan. This boxed set of ALL 156 episodes, in order from season 1 episode 1 is a MUST for any fan of The Twilight Zone. The reason I bought it is in the review title. Video & audio quality is very good. The only thing I don't like about it is having to select each episode. This is because of the "special features" included with each episode. Iy's why I gave it a "good" rating. I would rather they played straight through, one episode after another. The're also short (10-15 seconds) promos of other CBS shows. ie Wanted dead or alive, Andy Griffth, and a couple others.     The Twilight Zone - The complete definitive collection

    You either like twilight zone or not,so if it is a compleat collection that is all that matters about the content. The picture is very clear, no haze, sharp image, looks very good, is full screen and black and white. The sound is mono but it is not dull and flat, tape hiss(from orig. recordings) is very low, and I was a bit impressed with the quality of the sound. My gripe with the set is the discs do not have a play all feature. You have to return to the main top menu to go to the next show , each show has a flag for every 12 minuits, that is good, but it is hard to navigate to the top menu sometimes,(could be my dvd player, is a year 1999 pioneer, was good model then) Also,be very careful taking discs out of books, they feel like you could break them.
