These are my favorite pickups. PERIOD. I have a 1970's paf DiMarzio pickup in an epiphone les paul which was my sound for 20 years...until I tried these. I'd replaced a paf 36th ann.DiMarzio also, with the same G.M. 57 special pickup...wow. It's the sound I wanted from the start. I love the vintage tone, flat across the board eq on these pickups. Just enough high, mid and low to do the job. I have purchased 3 so far, and I will buy more.

The pickup itself was a little weaker than advertised (7.6K on a warm day compared to the advertised 8.2K) but I understand there's going to be variance between pickup winds and the pickup itself sounds fantastic and feels of great quality.
