Within the jungle ruins of the ancient Maya, your father has been kidnapped. But this isn't just any old dad. He's Pitfall Harry, star of such earlier video games as Pitfall! for Atari 2600 and Super Pitfall for the NES. As Harry Jr., only you can free your old man from the clutches of the evil Zakelua in Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure.<br><br>In order to be successful, you'll have to run, jump, and fight your way through 13 levels of action. Hindering your progress will be angry monkeys, hawks, gargoyles, snakes, ghosts, skeletons, tricky jumps, and more. To help you stay alive, you've got your trusty whip and special weapons such as sling stones, Mayan boomerangs and Exploding Stones of Pacal. Certain levels will even call for you to work your way through a mine shaft aboard a mine car. <br><br>Hidden within the game is the classic Atari 2600 version of Pitfall!. So you can even play the original game starring the person you are trying to save in Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure.

    The Best reasonable price Game for the Sega cd

    Let's be real, buying physical games for the sega cd it's becoming expensive overtime. The lesser expensive games are most of them, mediocre. Pitfall the mayan adventure for Sega cd I consider the definitive version over the rest of the plattforms.

    With no Indiana Jones or Tomb Raider on Sega CD this game substitutes that.

    Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure Sega CD First thing this game is a must have for Sega CD. Secondly though it might not have the save feature that the Atari Jaguar version does, this version is still the most complete version. I mean after this game came out on MS-Dos, SNES, Genesis, 32x & Atari's Jaguar the game creatores saved the best for the Sega CD. This game is the complete version because it had added FMV and bonus level. So what do you want? Want the game that has less, or the game that has more? I say if you want it all get this version. But me, I have it on 32x, Sega CD, and Atari Jaguar. I like the Jaguar's Graphics cause it just seems more is going on. But I like the Sega CD version best.

    The Best Version Of The Game

    For some reason unknown, the 32X version of this game is very high in price, but this is the better version with better audio and clean graphics and the best intro music plus its way cheaper.
