Three children embark upon interplanetary travel in the beloved children's tale, A WRINKLE IN TIME.     Great deal for a new release

    We read the book in class. Was a good book. Then,they made a movie on tv about it. I really liked this story. The remake of the movie I preordered was a great deal. Kids will love it. Don't listen to the critics. The critics seem to be biased towards a lot of movies. The preorder price was worth every penny and it came fast with no problems

    Wonderful At 6 or 60!

    I started this series of books back when dinosaurs roamed the earth... Passed them on to my kids when they were young, was absolutely thrilled when more came out (in my 30's) and read those too. This movie is a masterful exercise in bringing a book to screen, as well done as The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe series. I highly recommend this.

    Tampering With A Classic

    I must confess I am a middle school teacher and have taught the book A Wrinkle In Time for years. It is one of my favorite children's books of all time. I only bought the movie for my students to compare and contrast it to the novel. Luckily for us there was plenty to contrast. There are a lot of unnecessary changes made to the storyline and character development. Meg and Mrs. Whatsit are the most miscast. The actress playing Meg lacks the endearing humanity that is Meg, and Mrs. Whatsit's early shape shifting is frustrating. The novel is a beautiful story about self-discovery and the value of non-conformity. That lesson gets completely lost here in low budget CG tricks and distortions. As a sci-fi flick it's all right, but if you love the book pass this one by.

    A Wrinkle in Time

    Fun movie for a kids. Even my three old watched it. Not a great Disney movie with the effects , but better than a Tv Saturday morning movie. Good lessons about life! That no one can tell you what to do if you really believe in something. Deals with temptation, greed, and the best of all LOVE for your family! I think as an adult I found the lessons more profound than the kids did. I think they just really liked the fun sci-fi!
