The seller marked the item description finish as "hammered silver." I received the item and it was "chrome," which was on the box. Conveniently, the seller used a picture of the box (same item #) that did not include the finish. If the seller had accurately put the finish as "chrome," I would NOT have purchased it. I contacted the seller and was completely ignored. They did nothing to help or even respond. No communication and completely deceiving. Terrible experience. Buyer beware!

Ebay should do better. I indicated right off the bat the i had clicked on the buy_it_now by mistake and to cancel the order. Ebay said it could not be canceled and i should contact the seller. Seller lied that they have already shipped it. I asked for tracking and shipper pretended they didnt notice my message and never sent tracking. and then the package arrives. No fan blades, no bulb filters. item description were lies. it should have indicated it was selling parts not a product

    Great Product. Highly recommend.

    I bought this as a replacement for another Intermatic. The first one lasted15 years with replacement of the timer motor a couple of years ago and the contactor a few months ago. This time it was something in the skipper mechanism, so I decided on all new and can probably repair whatever is burnt in the skipper and have it for a spare. I live in a salt water environment, so this is excellent performance for anything electrical outdoors.

    sold as "like new" but is clearly "used" and for a period of time

    It was listed as "like new". Clearly it had been installed once before. The product had tarniishing on the metal components, wiring was not fresh and the dial looked old. I did not install this item as I was worried since it had benn installed once before that there was a problem with the timer. It would have been expensive to have it installed only to remove it, if defective, and then have to buy a "new timer" and have that one reinstalled. Seller say he does not accept returns. That should have been a warning that his products are no good.

    Good Product!

    I have used these timers for more than 25 years, because they are both of good quality and represent a good value at the low end of the price scale. The motor/gear train lasts maybe ten years then it will usually need replacement. It's easy to change out. The other brand (with the plastic levers that trip the switch) is to be avoided. When they break, and they do, you will need a whole new timer. Replace those with this one when it fails.

    Why pay more?

    This sprinkler control unit has been around for a long time. And been overpriced for as long! Perfect/original replacement at a fair price. 'nuff said!

    Not Quality Made in USA!. Broke on Installation!.

    Poor Quality Control !. New in Box, sealed in Plastic, and when it was made and Assembled, ( IN MEXICO) whoever, cross threaded one of the 4 Screws on the Relay for the Wire Connections !. Upon Trying Carefully to back it out, the plastic Casing on The Relay Broke off and the inside Connector Fell Apart and Fell Out!. The one I am Replacing was MADE IN USA, and was 20+ years old!.
