    Not as bassy as reviews indicated.

    I was expecting a true bassy set of headphones, not. The sound is clear and crisp! They do not isolate ambient noises as I was led to believe, I suppose I should have ordered Active Noise Cancelling and paid the extra $30.00. Also do not use the straight in plug on the headphone itself, it is constantly disengaging with the slightest movement, very annoying. If you are planning on connecting to a TV you will need to buy an extension since the wires are good for phone and laptop use only.

    Passive is the best IMO great sound and no batteries needed !

    Passive set IMO have the same or better sound quailty of the active with the green light (active) noise cancelling turned on . i prefer the passive because you dont need batteries. i own 3 types of monster inspiration headphone , passive , active and demo which are like active but must be pluged into a wall to have the noise canceliing affect (no batteries needed) not bluetooth but i attach a BT reciver/transmitter , problem solved. i dont notice outside noise with the passive over the active. i use these with all my devices via BT or pluged into phone or computer if needed. yes they are a little heaver than some other headphones. the sound quality and price is the best . heavy is the head that wears the crown ! LOL

    Great sound as you expected. ⚠️🎶

    Great sound and comfort with superb materials! For me its “bassy” enough and balanced not like the Beats of the same line and year (2010-2015) I’m happy for buy ones on 2020 because still timeless and top of line... of course there are new headphones with more quality and clarity on music but the Monster inspiration are exceptional and lovely for collectors! Thats all.

    Not Good for Gym Use

    I understand that these are not "gym" headphones but for anyone wondering they should be used strictly for casual listening. They have a great base and sound. The ear pieces start to smell of sweat which is another reason why they should not be used for physical activity. They are a little heavier than normal but that doesn't make them uncomfortable by any means. They are actually quite comfortable. I've had them for a a few months now and the volume on the chord is already broken. Decent but I wouldn't pay more than $20 for these.
