Never had one of these sockets when we bought the Sienna van used. Found out when we tried to replace a flat (not good). Stupid of Toyota to use a 5-point nut for the spare…too easy to lose or displace…a normal hex nut would have been fine…Toyota, just tell folks to not over-tighten (if that’s what they were trying to prevent with the penta nut, as I have heard)…you can still over-tighten with this socket, I expect…anyway, hate to have to buy a specialty socket, when I already have hex sockets…that’s my beef (thanks for the therapy session to get this off my chest) Honestly, I haven’t tried the part yet, but it looks like it’ll work just fine.
