Love the Nutri Ninja!
I have the Nutri Ninja Professional Blender, which I love and is great when I making several smoothies. Two of my daughters who were enjoying morning smoothies with me have moved out and I needed something smaller for a daily basis. This is perfect, powerful enough top chop up the frozen kale and fruits that I use frequently, and I love the extra cups that came with it. My daughter has a three hundred dollar nutrient and vitamin extraction type blender so that is what I am comparing my Ninja to. Not a fair comparison perhaps. The ninja leaves little particles of kale unincorporated and larger pieces of date after 60 seconds of auto ultra blend. That's my main disappointment. Overall though, the ninja is much more powerful than a standard blender and much easier to clean than the standard blender. Loud but works nicely.
The Nutri Ninja works nicely for making smoothies. I have found you need to add more juice than planned in order for the Ninja to pull the frozen mix down to blend. I take my fruit out the night before and place in the frig to soften. The Ninja is powerful and extremely loud, so much so I cover my ears or leave the room. Easy clean up and simple to use!
