Great live Allman Bros from just before they hit it big.

This is a live recording made over two days the year before their breakout Live From The Fillmore East album. They're in top form here, and Johnny Winter sits in on Mountain Jam.. Highly Recommended. The product is in excellent condition.

  • More Allman Bros Live

Just when you think you've heard all the live Allman Brothers there is to hear...Surprise! This is a GREAT 2 cd live set with what you'd expect song-wise, sounding as good as one could hope for. If you are a fan, treat yourself and get this set.

  • It's agreat title?

Been a big fan of Duanne Allman era Allman Bros stuff since vinyl days... The blessings of the CD era seems to allow for obscure old gems to be issued even this late in the game.. time wise. This is a great live Allman bros set pre" Eat a Peach" I believe yet the band cooks and moves will all the improvisation skills you should look to these guys for. If this ain;t jazz, then Jazz shoulda listened to this when it was happening... get it, re-issue it and enjoy if you can find it.. good liner notes as well...

  • Never another band like the Brothers.

hi i'm an old hippie from the 70's. heard the brothers 1st time at the Warehouse in new orleans . than we caught them at Atlanta pop fest when they recorded this album. Man what dreams. The brothers were just starting out than. Young ass kicking southern band full of wine and cocaine. They played the Warehouse every New Years Eve for years Charlie Daniels, Marshall Tucker Band. Than after that brain fry came another Little Southern band called Lynyrd Skynyrd . And like they say the rest is history. " Bickey "
