2600 pro works well for older systems
It works better on newer directX9 titles than the g-force 6800 it replaced. Most likely from the larger frame buffer and having more shaders on the card. Older directX7-8 titles ran slightly better on the g-force 6800 though. TV out quality on the 2600 pro is okay, but seemed somewhat better on the g-force 6800. The ATI drivers, while having loads of settings, are a little flaky compared to the Nvidia drivers. The only real problems I've had with the drivers is when trying to switch between the pc monitor and the tv. 2600 Pro AGP 8X video card is still a great card.
This card is very good for an AGP 8X. Handles games like MOH Pacific Assult with no problem. Quiet fan and has 2 DVI ports for dual monitors. All around great board with no problems installing.
