    Motorcycle seat restore to new condition

    The seat was as pictured with the torn patches of vinyl leather, however what wasn't shown was the amount of rust under the seats metal, no problem I thought, just take off the latch and sand, mask off, paint! one of the attaching bolts snapped off because it was rusted as though welded on, next drill and tap, new bolt move on, drill out rivets, removed seat cover and re-upholster with real leather, only the find (as I guessed) alot more rust, sand and paint all good, tha seat is very comfortable and exactly what I was looking for!! glad to have found it as they don't make it anymore!
