Good book but buy the newest version
I got this book plus the newest one. A Many of the recipes are a major change or extension of this version. Plus there is much more information on the latest version. Note: The newest version is very much in demand and can be priced significantly above the retail price. Look for good used books.

If you are serious about bread making this is the book for you.
Beautiful book. I will be giving it to my sister in law for her birthday as I know myself and know that I will not make the effort to make different yeast starters, etc. that one needs to do to really get the use out of the book.
