It worked great for my 68 T-Bird, I was thinking of changing the a/c system to r-134 , thought I would give this a shot first, pulled the vac and added all the cans, it's blowing 36° at a fast idle,this car sat for 12 years in a shop before I got it and had nothing in the system to start with, I would definitely recommend and use again on my next old project.
