Quality seems great! Condition is CLEAN and packaging was robust, well protected. Value: it's used so i don't expect miracles. These first-generation, pre"facelift" e39 cars (1999 528i in my case) require the replacement DSC/ABS module to be "Coded" (a silly term for registering the device on your car's CANBUS network [VIN-lock] for them to work: this essentially means jumping through hoops to DIY the "pairing" yourself or paying someone to do it. I will easily buy from seller again!

THE fix, and a way to prevent the Trifecta problem

This is likely the solution for almost all of the "Trifecta" problems. The ABS Module sits right near the exhaust manifold messing up the electronics inside. The heat shield does not go up high enough (a design problem, thus the widespread problem). The heat shield actually only serves to direct all the exhaust heat right onto the Module! So this rebuilt item fixed the problem, and to prevent the problem from reoccurring, I designed a heat shield extension out of aluminum siding so the Module gets minimum heat. I wonder if BMW figured this out yet.

  • ABS Pump Fault Repair

We had a problem with our 2003 BMW 525i that we are rebuilding. The ABS Pump would constantly run and not turn off which would kill the batter when ignition was off. This repaired our problem.

  • 01 530i

Good buy. Worked great on my 01 530i. No programming needed. Just reset the steering angle sensor and you’re good to go.

  • BMW E38 ABS Control Module

Unit was reasonably priced, was shipped quickly, and worked perfectly with no need to code. Recommend the company highly.

  • No more abs dsc brake lights.

All I had to do was the steering angle sensor pairing and no more abs dsc and brake lights.
