Bit of a learning curve.
The four star review is for two reasoned: the controls are kind of weird and there's a bit of a learning curve to figuring them out, and the lid over food dish is easily defeated by a persistent enough cat. The main lid over the whole thing seems fine but the little one kind of sucks so it's basically a five meal feeder. I can live with both of these things to not be woken up at the butt crack of dawn on my day off. Whatever affection I possessed for my daughters cat was swiftly evaporating and this was his savior.
