"Hoya Pro1 Digital 82mm MC PL-C Made in Japan" ok coating(but not great),little vignetting with widest lenses, some flare, gets stuck on the lens. 30g
It was "Hoya Pro1 Digital 82mm MC PL-C Made in Japan" that I bought (engraved on the filter side). It is coated, but the coating is visually worse than on Hoya HD2 filters. 8.1mm total width (about 1.5mm of that goes into the inner lens thread; vs thinner 7.4mm total width of uncoated Hoya 82mm CIR-PL Slim filter made in Philippines). Barely noticeable vignetting with Sigma 20mm f1.8 lens at f1.8. When the sun is in the frame, or close to it, the presence of the filter is recognizable (contrast, flare) -- HD2 filters are better in this regard. It has the same defect of the thread as the uncoated Hoya filters -- it gets stuck on some lenses, hard to unscrew without special instruments (this does not happen with Hoya HD2 filters).
