About this product

Product Information

In the tradition of YU-GI-OH, the action-packed anime series DUEL MASTERS follows the adventures of a group of kids who play a mystical card game that magically brings its battling creatures to life. As the son of a famous dueling master, teenager Shobu Kirifuda is the best of the current crop of players and even has the potential to be the game's greatest fighter. Based on an actual Japanese card game, the series chronicles Shobu's quest to become a champion duelist--while fighting off a formidable array of opponents--in an animated style created by top artists and game designers. THE GOOD, THE BAD, AND THE BOLSHACK introduces the series with the first volume of episodes.

The pop that arrived is a Chase. The Chase sticker is upside down. This is likely to be a fake I assume? It does not match the photos. The sticker is correct but when arrived it’s upside down.

  • Sub-Par Presentation For A Respectable Series

As DVD reviews should not be confused with series reviews, it is more my intent to review the actual disc of "Duel Masters" than the series, which in itself holds subjective praise and criticism from fans worldwide. This, being the first disc of Paramount Entertaiment's series of "Duel Masters" DVDs, could be accepted with a few flaws (especially considering the company's near-total inexperience with Japanese animation) but the presentation on this disc is totally unacceptable. The disc boots and directly moves to movie-style trailers of other programs, and while this has become commonplace for many mainstream film companies to do, the option to skip directly to the main menu is disabled in every way, thus forcing the viewer to manually skip ahead through each individual trailer until ...
