    Carburetor working great so far. Only problem was the intermediate gasket on the adapter plate would not work, holes would not align . Had to make my own gasket. Other then that the Carb. was easy to adjust for idle speed. Wish I would have put this Carb. on long ago. I will post pictures so others can get ideas on how to do it.

    Bolt on ready and very simple.

    The install instructions were somewhat vague (simply because the install varies from vehicle to vehicle). For the most part it is straight forward and very simple. Hardest part was removing original carb. Packaged very nicely and secure. Came with everything I needed. Had to jimmy-rig my the bracket for throttle cable but only because I had already modified the original brackets in the past. Highly recommend Weber carbs. It has been installed on my 88 toyota pickup 2wd for almost a year now and have had not a single issue. As long as you put in the time to be sure your air cleaner is clean and free of debris, you shouldn't have any issues with clogged jets or anything else.

    Should have did it 35 years ago

    I had a little bind in my linkage...once that was resolved just fine tune. I should have did this 35 years ago. Strongly suggest fuel pressure regulator 2.75 - 3.0 pounds of pressure. Went with the original air cleaner unit...had to get adapter...raises air cleaner about 1"...took off ALL smog stuff.

    works perfect

    I replaced an aisin factory carb (that is a big POS) on my 85 toyota pickup 22r with this redline kit. Install was easy, carb worked perfectly out of the box. I also installed a fuel pressure regulator and egr delete plates, and got rid of all vacuum lines but the vacuum advance on the distributor. Kit comes with provisions to keep pcv valve so i didnt delete that.

    Better than a rebuilt carb

    Everything you need to upgrade. Buy the egr delete plate unless you can build your own. Also there are a few items to plug off if you’re removing all of your old vacuum lines. There’s some great videos that tell you exactly which ones.
