      Not as described.

      Product clearly showed button on the handle that allows you to put the gear in forward to give it more fuel while starting engine. (Black large center button) I had this model already but specifically bought it for this feature. The lift handle works but it is not near as efficient as when you have the whole throttle range and can pump it. Very disappointing.

      QC not good

      was cheaper, product had several issues on arrival. The neutral switch was bad so it wouldn't start.(had to replace). The throttle tension adjuster was misaligned. (had to drill new/wallow hole to allow it to seat properly). and the fast idle handle/mechanism was not seated into the cam. (was free moving). So not real impressed with QC on this product.

      buy this if you want to crash your boat

      I got it all installed, went to the lake, backed up from the dock then went on out on the lake pushed throttle all the way forward and it only went half throttle, put it back in neutral then back all the way forward. The boat took off when I went to slow down it would not the lever came back but throttle stuck wide open, I scrambled back to the motor and manually pulled the throttle back to get the boat to stop. Took apart the controller and pieces fell out.Dont buy this junk!

      Trim switch was broken right out of the box, and the ignition switch has a short in the choke circuit. I'm sending it back, not trustworthy, terrible quality. Also no retainers to hold the cables on the shift/throttle levers.
