Upon getting the pedals bearings were too tight and not enough grease was in the bearings. The outer plastic cap at the end of the pedal shaft, (outside of the pedal, The outer part of the pedal away from the bike ) is how to adjust and add lithium grease to the pedal. This can be done easily ( while pedals are still on the bike or after the pedals are installed on the bike to have something holding the shaft from spinning And loosening the nut you will see until the pedal spins freely
