    don't build unless you are a very experienced builder

    instructions are very vague, the walnut "planking" is so thin it is difficult to work with. Drawings and part numbers are not consistent. Kit can be built by a very experienced builder who knows all of the tricks in working with thin wood. For a beginner I would recommend not using the walnut wood "planking" and just walnut staining everything. The .6 mm walnut strips are impossible to find although you can get it a walnut vaneer

    Great model of early Western stagecoach.

    I purchased this beautiful kit back in 1984 when it was first released. I had been a model maker for about 30 years then, but had never built a wooden model. I had no issues whatsoever with this kit and still have it today. Like any detailed assembly kit, you must have patience and work no more than a couple of hours at a time. The reward when you are done is well worth the effort! It is very delicate and should be covered with a clear case for protection.

    Not all There

    I knew this was an open box when I bought it but the wording stated that it looked like everything was there, everything was NOT there, missing the wheels and a lot of the materials needed. Oh well, so much for believing what is printed in the description.

    Nice project for collecting

    Haven’t tried assembling it yet to see if it’s complete, but seems to be. I know it will be a beautiful show piece when finished. Great kit for those who prefer a bit of difficulty. Not something to finish in a day or two.
