The second golf game on the Nintendo DS earns its moniker by featuring a touch-screen interface for swinging the club. The stylus is used to simulate a golfer's backswing and follow-through by sliding it down and up in one continuous motion. True Swing Golf features a total of 15 fictitious courses filled with trees, sand traps, water hazards, and variable weather conditions. Four male and four female characters are available in modes that include tournaments, practice sessions, single rounds, and wireless support for up to four players on a single card. As players win tournaments, they will earn money to spend on outfitting their golfers with ability-enhancing equipment, such as gloves, clubs, shoes, and more. Notable options include a left- or right-handed interface, adjustable camera angles, and multiple character "personalities" that influence their power and accuracy ratings.

Why can't real golf be this fun and easy?
I have found True Swing Golf to be an enjoyable game so far. The game play is pretty straight forward, incorporating the lower touch screen for swinging. The graphics are pretty good and the user interface is very easy to use. I haven't played any other golf games on DS but I'd say this game (especially at the price I paid) is well worth the investment. Yet another great way to waste time at work! Now if only real golf were this fun, easy, and inexpensive.I have found True Swing Golf to be an enjoyable game so far. true swing golf doesn't really make the cut
this game is barely average. it was slow and the controls were sloppy. i did finish under par in just 3 tries. but this golf game is not worth the original price. buy it, if you can find it cheap. or download domo golf from dsiware store. that game was more fun, and only costs 200 points. it is too bad this true swing golf was not made better. the graphics were very nice. but gameplay counts more than visuals. i give this game a c-. t&e made pebble beach golf for super nintendo, that game was my favorite golf game. then, they made this mess.this game is barely average. it was slow and the controls were sloppy. i did finish under par in just 3 tries. but this golf game is not worth the original price. buy it, if you can find it cheap. or download domo golf from dsiware store. that game was more fun, and only costs 200 points. it is too bad this true swing golf was not made better. the graphics were very nice. but gameplay counts more than visuals. i give this game a c-. t&e made pebble beach golf for super nintendo, that game was my favorite golf game. then, they made this mess.

ds lite game
The game was purchased for my 4 year old son and i didn't want to spend alot of money on games for him with him being so young. It is a great game for his age and even the older ones. My nephew who is 16 and my husband who is 29 both enjoy the game as well. It's a good clean game and I would recommend it to anyone.

sweet swing
good presentation, excellent game play(very inovative), controls are smooth and the graphics are on par with a DS title. very mario golf esque. just wish tournament mode was a little deeper. 8/10.
